Need a smokin' fast new tower for graphics. My old baby is about to bite the dust. Alas; no more ram allowed.

Ok. I have 10 years with the tower of the fastest processor and more RAM available at this time. It is always very fast, but I can not add more ram (my first DDR available) and the hard drive is full and I'm on a backup disk of 80 GB to keep things going. Can not do anything complex graphics for about a week. This means I finally retire my baby, and bring in new technologies. So I need a complete revolution with a large number of slots, a very fast processor, excellent graphics card, CD and DVD burner, a good Internet protection software, network configuration. The other thing that would be very useful is about freebees software or at least cheapees. I need RAM, lots of it. So for all of you who are geniuses with the know-how, you play. Tell me how to build around what I need for less than 1000 dollars. I do not need anything else but the tower, and do not want anything fancy in the way of a case. I'll be watching to see what you recommend. Do not forget to give me any list. Thank you.

$ 1000, you'll need to take a couple of concessions. Personally, I begin to build a system for myself with the intention to update later.

For the processor and board, I would go with a Core 2 Duo E6000 series or AMD Athlon 64x2 5600 or faster processor, 2 GB of RAM for the moment (you can always add more later) And an ATX motherboard with a minimum of 4 Ports with SATA RAID capacity (ATA). Intel 975-Bad Axe, P35, and any number of motherboards nVidia. Also make sure you have at least two PCI-E x16, two PCI-E x1 and 2 or 3 PCI slots. You really want to spend more on the motherboard, RAM and processor, the money you will not need to spend later.

hard drives have fallen heavily in price. Sometimes you can find them for sale. How I love my drives, however, is when retailers sell "OEM" they are the same as what readers come in the box and kits are usually $ 20 to $ 50 less. This is true on DVD - you can easily find a brand new DVD burner for $ 25, and maybe less.

Regarding other parts of the site, you can cut a few corners and get a video card integrate, as a nVidia GeForce 8600 GTS, GeForce 7900 GTO, ATI Radeon 2600 XT, Radeon 1950 XT, or card similar. If it is in your budget, get a pair of cards - they must be the same brand and model, and SLI (nVidia) or CrossFire (ATI) capable.

Finally, get a case to both calm and extensible. Make sure it has 1 drive bay SATA SATA port on your card, and many fans (or places for them). If the case comes with a diet that involves less than 400 watts, go ahead and move to something more powerful (I would go with at least 500 watts for a single card video installation, and 650 minimum double with video cards).

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6
RAM: OCZ / Corsair DDR2 800 2x1GB
Graphic: nVidia GeForce 8800GT

dual core choose not Many software on the market makes use of dual core, and even less for quad core ... to dual core is more than enough

mobo choice is cuz being of its support DDR3 RAM, plus proof future, can always come back to GA-P35-DS3 series and if need dun, but both also support quad core, and if necessary in the future

or if u ve extra money, and can always try the X38 series ... Gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6 is one, supporting DDR3, PCI-E 2.0, all the latest technologies, it is

or May and get those who have nVidia chipset and n680i It has very good features too ... can not specify model that I am not too sure it abt

all these motherboard supports 6 ports SATA2, 10 USB 2.0 ports, 2 PCI-E x16 ports, 2 PCI-E x1 and 3 ports PCI ports, togrether with things like HD and RAID

graphics card wise, not the most powerful exists, but it has the highest price / performance ratio ... a large map of the mid end, but the performance is close to that of high-end, IU can run 90% of games on the market high spirit parameters ... map compatible DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4.0

double card system (SLI or CrossFire) is not recommended because the gain does not justify the price, and win abt 50-70% more performance, and not 100%, not all programs, games included, makes use of dual card set up

2 GB of ram because it is sufficient for Vista, even with games, Dun recommend more than anything for the moment the current 32-bit OS can not read more than 3 GB of RAM

for disk and can always find them with 1 TB (1024GB), but if u want speed or security, and can still run RAID (RAID 0 for speed and RAID 1 for Security), but will need and a pair of hard disk so

others are u
