Booting PS1 games from CD-Rs?

From your comments
I have backups of some old PS1 games of mine and you want to know if it is possible to play on one of these non-modded PS2 thin without additional software (unless the Action Replay Max for aid PS2). If not, then there PS1 emulator for the PC that can run ISOs of these games?
If your PS2 does not have bullet you can not play any games burned onto CD or DVD .. even if you have any old bootdisks of PS1 it will not be useful because it works only with PS1 chip .. no emulators will not help, either because you can not play all the games on PS PC .. you need to update your PS2 with new chip .. then you can play all games not burned, they are PS1 or PS2 ..

PS Action Replay is too old and you can only play CD copies of DVD with games of inferior quality .. you need a new chip (bootdisks is then unnecessary) ..

If your machine is not chipped, it wont to play copied games, regardless of whether its PS1 or PS2

I am sure that copies of games operate on normal Playstations, and I presume copied PS1 games would work on a PS2 . Try it, and if it does not try to find an emulator.
