My computer isnt reading some dvd's. Any Ideas? Please read further!?

So I have a new bridge with Vista computer with a DVD player. I for the most part, had no problem with DVDs and whatnot. But recently I found my computer is not a reading that is in the DVD player with some dvds. Most work well, but some will not work at all. Obviously this makes it so that they can not be played on my PC or copied for backups. Does anyone have ideas on the reasons that might be? I have updated all software and hardware, and again, he plays regularly all discs and most DVDs, it does recognize certain at all. Some suggestions!

could be several things, first of all a step, hopefully the problem is that the DVD player could be defective (hope it's under warranty). second, it could be that the DVD player is not compatible with some DVD's, they are commercial DVDs, such as films, it seems that this is a defective DVD player, but if the DVD fuel then it is possible that the player needs a firmware update, there are a couple of forums on the way, (if I RECAL CDfreaks was one of them). If the DVD rewritable east then make sure it can format the hard disk before attempting to use it. good luck.

K, except that happening with some commercial DVD then it is highly likely that the reader is defective. if you have a guarantee on it, new vessel to get the disk rotates, it is generally cost about $ 30 USD. if not under warranty, then update the firmware of the DVD player in the forum section cdfreaks you should fine some information on how to obtain the updated firmware and flashing utilities, you must have the drive, so go - my computer right click on the icon for the DVD player, go to the properties, then click on the Hardware tab, it will give you the name of the DVD player, a quick google search of this name should give you the manufacturer and specifications on the disc, or pop, you can open the box and get information directly from the top of the disc it is oneself. Warrning open the case or update the BIOS may invalidate any guarantee manufacturer to make your own risk. I hope that helped Regarding

I know that you have downloaded these films. The problem is "regions". The world is divided into 6 regions with North America being the region 1. If you downloaded 23456 region, it will not play. The reason for the regions is the region 1 is a rich country that can afford a $ 30 DVD and porcelain in the region ... 6 .... pay $ 5. Sucks right !!!!! When you download from the Internet, it can be downloaded from anywhere and any region.
