Question about Windows XP reinstallation and second hard drive...?

I want to reinstall Windows, and I have a second hard drive so I had to install the software so that it works. The second hard drive I use only for backup files that are important (specific documents, photos, etc.). When I delete the main hard disk and reinstall Windows, he also erase the second hard drive? No.

You have to go physically and erase information from the second hard drive for you to lose your files. What I would like to do to ensure your security files, is to go and disconnect the power cord from the second hard disk during recharge your XP on your hard disk master. Now it is not possible, you will lose these important files. After installing XP and then just plug in your backup hard drive and XP should be back up important files and without problems.

Amend Updated: Like Microsoft disclaimer always said: Back up your important files before loading large operating system and they say this because mistakes can occur during a recharge system. In return disconnect your hard drive until there is no way any mistakes can occur.

, Windows will detect both disks and ask you where you want to format and install. You should be able to easily distinguish between readers depending on the size (it is included in the set-up).
If you're really not sure / paranoid, it just stalled the IDE cabeling or wiring feed reader slave, and installation of Windows custom see at all, you will probably get a nasty BIOS warning the effect of "slave primary drive failure" At each reboot until you connect the player, because the recording of it is stored in CMOS technology, not Windows.
However, it should be two options after this message, in most configurations modern BIOS Press DEL to enter SETUP or strike F1 to continue, you can ignore this message at this time, and it is sufficient 'press F1 (May your BIOS have a different tone, but there will be an option)
Once you've reinstalled Windows, simply connect the IDE cabeling / output wiring, and you should be prepared to leave.

Reinstalling windows only occurs in the first reader who has already Window XP inside. Even if you install window XP second disc, your backup data files will remain there. No.
