This is all pretty basic stuff and I'm extremely reluctant to offer answers. In an essay (and I have no reason to doubt you), would it not be better to consider your course material? If this is gonna be on a test, no doubt your prof covered. In reviewing the course material, you'll probably take more that will be on the test bench.
