What is the best way to DUMP a hard drive and start fresh without a backup? Do I buy all new software ... (ie Windows, DOS, MS <etc etc do not need to buy new, just use your old licenses, serial numbers. If you do not have a CD to install Windows / Office / etc, you will need the software first.

Try system instead restore It'll just bring you back to an earlier.
