Is a 71MB registry normal?

flydog_38, to your comment:
A recent patch required me to use regedit to save my register, and just for kicks I looked at the size of the backup file. It is 71 megabytes! Does the registry files supposed to be that large, and how can I correct if it is not?
as windows for you ... anything in the big windows that is why it is so slow ... and requires a minimum of 1 GB of ram.
