Hard drive partition question?

in response to your comment:
My computer came with 20 gigabytes set aside for backups Norton Ghost (their is a separate letter called backup drive). East them any way I can combine that 20 gigabytes with my first C: drive without losing all data and, if so, their software is free to do so? Thank you.
cracks.me.uk It is , However, it is not without risk of data loss. It is always better to save your files before trying it.

Download cd Ubuntu (www.ubuntu. Com) is a Linux CD that can run Linux without installing it on your hard drive. The program you want comes with Ubuntu, it is called "Gparted." It is an editor of partition that you will reduce or eliminate undesirable partition and then expand the partition, the disc C. The program is easy to use, but you have to do a little reading of the figure it out.

Yes, you can do with Acronis Disk Director. It can resize, move, copy, Split and merge partitions without losing your data and has a user-friendly interface you do no harm to any use. Visit a disc Director site for more information:

If the data on your hard drive is corrupted, it is recommended to format the hard disk and reinstall the operating system (usually Windows XP ). If a new drive is used, you want May to partition the hard drive into 2 or more drive. The operating system is installed on the first disc and a backup data is stored on the second disc more information
