Help with ripping dvds?


Is there anyway to rip DVD to Windows XP without downloading one of these programs that everyone is talking about? I need to make a backup copy of the dvd but I did not want to download the software. Any help?

DVD Ripper I usually use EM free DVD copy. because it allows me to rip dvd easily, and it allows me to rip DVD other popular video formats such as H264, Xvid, MOV, VOB, Mpeg, Mpeg4, TS MPEG, AVI, WMV, etc..
so I can watch movies on portable DVD player as iPod, iPhone so conveniently. it may dvd divided into different chapters, I can I rip my favorite. In addition, it can copy any DVD disc drive.
