Hard Disk Drive Enclosure Question?

Can I use a hard drive I installed in an external box as my "back-up disk for my important information as" my documents "and" My Pictures "as a" copy and paste "my important information (the computers take my hdd and put it on my external hard drive which is in the outer wall?

I have already done this, but now I wonder if it will help me if and when I need to install this "backup" data on another disk (if my computer hdd accident should and must be replaced).

If it works, why do we need these programs Fancy not automatically as Ghost and Acronis? I do not have to copy and paste routine every month .... if it will allow me to access and transfer information in due course?

other programmes as a ghost and Acronis can save your entire disc, including the operating system, software, etc etc give you a car, you can simply pop in the machine when the original fails.
You're to safeguard your data, no program, no operating system, you have a lot of work to do to get back up and running if your player is dead.
Acronis has the added advantage of be able to recover pain and your hard drive image of a simple network boot from the CD. It is a good option if you have a big server with lots of space to put images of other systems. < br> That way, if one drive fails, replace it, stay in the CD, select the image on the server, and let it do its thing.
Once that is done, you have a fully functional system!
That's when you must use the most recent backup documents, etc. on your external hard drive.
The reason is that the chances are that you have made to update your documents from your last full backup of the system.

, which work well for the registration of photos and documents as you remember to move people, every time. A full backup your drive, including the operating system if your hard all accidents can be recovered and running.

With the way you do, if your system crashed you need reload all your programs and your Windows operating system and then retrieve your photos and other things of the disc

If a pasting of important data is not a burden to you then it is just fine and can save a lot of $ $ $ when your drive fails ...

World Network, you are more or less make a backup off-site data that is a good practice to this day. Never mind the backup of your operating system and application if you rescue disk. The data are most important for us in this industry. When the main office is on fire or that the data be comprimised, Rest assured that your important data is still there.

ghost does all the back without manually copy and paste all your files, it does all the work for you. you can install the backup data in a new hdd if you copied the files to complete installation (eg exe files)

Copy and paste works very well. Software fantasy, if configured properly, never forgets to copy or too busy do other things that people do.

If the disks are sized accordingly, the software could easily several backup files that you would care to do so manually, indeed the entire disc if you space.
