I am now begin to repair the computer of my neighbours and perhaps the whole city is here .. Any software you can recommend to the purchase? Like backup, anti-virus, or some sort of recovery .... Specific demands that the software will do everything works well ... Ideas?

Knoppix:
Linux on a CD. A wide range of tools for troubleshooting on it.
Ubuntu:
To install on their computers. Remedy the curse of Windows.

Generally people vis their computers so bad that her best just to back up important files and format the hard disk.
