How do you make a backup disk on a pc?

lost girl,to comment:
I just spend hours fixing a virus on my computer. Is there anyway to make a backup disk of all my files onto a CD? Im kinda a newby to computer software so I would appreciate all the help anyone can give me. Thank

I think the best way is to buy one from the outside just hardrives plugin to your computer (USB). Cd road is limited by the space available on the CD about 4 to 8gbs at best. It is often not enough room to back up the data on your computer. I notice, prices are falling on those units. They usually come with some software. If it is using windows xp and you have a core curriculum backup that will allow you to back up the data on your computer, then make further safeguarding of information that is new when you once again. Good luck. Check out those external hard drives.

A great way to back up your computer is to use a backup service online, and so on. On a monthly fee, they backing up your data (images, music, etc.). If you have a problem with your computer, you can simply restore the factory with CD, then upload your data. Data are stored off-site, which is the BEST place for a backup!
