need help in taking backup !!!?


I hav computer running on me win. I need to take to safeguard tally 4.5 [accounting software based dos]. But the only option available for backup / restore floppy drive is [a: b:], and this path can be changed at any folder or disk. Backup size on each pc is about 45 mb to floppies are not reliable in this regard.

Either there is no way to make a false floppy drive to tally would copy the data on this disc? Till now i took the backup of the entire foler on a CD, but now that I am the modernization i need to follow procedure to safeguard only tally ........... 4.5 Please help ...

Dont panic, do something .. Note that the extension of the types of correspondence file system stores.
Save all your data on your computer as a backup.
And when you are finished, take data from a CD or a USB thumb.

Unless you replace the FDD inside with a Zip Drive, I do not know how you can do, if you are limited to this option, a and b. .. Genre curious as you are.
Anyways, ZIP or another option Go to the port IDE FDD should go

You can change drive letters.

I would just copy the files to another drive, rather than having the software do it. You do not have to determine where the files are located on your computer. They are probably either under C: \ TALLY or C: \ Program Files \ Tally.

I advise you to use good NAS, most backup software. At home I use True Image Workstation, there is an option that allows you to adjust backup server group on one of your machines, and other install the agent special safeguard, so you can comps automatically backup at ENA.
