The ReadMe file on XPSP2 Home Edition CD says that BACKUP is unstable. Is it safe to use?

Here's what the readme says:
"NTBackup Backup / Restore ASR release notes

Backup / Restore

1.ASR ASR is not taken care in the home edition.

IF you install from CD NtBackup the Home Edition, ASR
Functionality appear to work fine during
backup session. Since the installation only takes not support ASR in
Edition of the house, there is no way to initiate
ASR restore disaster. If you need to restore
this session, manually install Windows Then
XP restore ASR media.

2.Backup CDRW

If you decide to make a backup of a CD-RW, you can not target this device
Directly. You need to create a backup set of
650 megabytes or less and saving to a file. Once the file is complete,
Copy File to CDRW.

S ' Please refer to the readme for XP home edition of additional notes. "

What I would like to be safe using Acronis True Image Convar or program? I was told third-party software is not working as well with Windows products. Please HELP!

(From old blog's comments)
If you are unable to obtain a copy of XP Professional, sure, you can use any number of programs to safeguard the 3rd party, which is much better than nothing comes with Windows.

Whoever told you that it is wrong to be working well. It would be like choosing MS Backup on Norton Ghost. Norton is just the best!
