I am trying to find some sort of software that is easy to use preferably in a single download if I can put my collection of movie DVDs one by one in my laptop and copy them into the computer, and I know that they will be security, and therefore in the future if one of my original disks damaged i can put them back on white discs.is there any software that can do this? I found a few sites but they seem a little expensive there free? No council would Many thanks.

This is a combination of two programs. But do not worry. They are very easy to use, and they are completely free.
# 1 - HD DVDFab Decrypter - use this to rip the DVD on your hard drive. If you just want to save the movie on your hard drive, you can stop afterwards.
# 2 - DVD Shrink - Retail dvds are usually "double-layer". Virgin double layer DVD cost $ 2 each. But single layer DVDs are only about 30 cents. Use this option to re-encoding (reduce) the DVD so that it fits onto a single layer DVD-R. There is hardly any loss of quality. You do not need to decline until the DVD that you want to transfer to DVD.

u shud go to google n try to watch a free software or a version TRIAL u cud to use it as a 30 day
I guess what u shud do is copy hours of films and DVDs have one w / original, and that if a burn and destroy a dvd and have another left
If u not burn dvds only films leave hours a laptop, then maybe u shud just take a picture of dvd (do not know how his pro tho called in English, but when it does come up su w / some files which include Ur ur film but unable to look less and burning a dvd w / it)
( I think WindowsMediaPlayer can burn dvd w / o any additional software, what my son said WMP, but I have not yet tried so cannot know for sure)
