Making backup of vista off my comp, I want to save it and install xp?

Im tired of Vista! The portable was almost 2 months, the search for compatible software is a nightmare, and although her vista compatible does not mean shit. Best refused to buy even if the guarantee of its issue of software for computer and im concerned that the software may cost me more than its value. The 2 months, I had this computer was spent trying to get the computer half a ** decent for my use. I want my xp back, but I paid the vista and do not want to lose, because when it is more convenient I could reinstall it in the future.
Yes, how can I get this record? I heard, I can make an image of it, but I am not gifted with a computer, detailed instructions on how you give points. I have a toshiba satellite p205-s6267 and I have a hard recovery, I know that it can be repaired, but not sure if we can relocate to the computer. If I can not make a copy, Do I have to buy this disc?

FED UP! With

vista There are some options. First and foremost if you bougth vista with your computer must have obtained an OS restore CD that contains the installation of Vista, if you have not, contact your manufacturer help desk and they should send you one. You have purchased the software, and they are supposed to provide a means to relocate if it fails.

As far as creating an image, which is much more complicated than just have them send you an installation disk for Vista, you should use a program like Norton Ghost, which takes a snapshot of your system. There is no way to simply copy your entire wireless system software to do so. Bakcup software will also allow you to create an image to restore your system, but many require that you have a CD installation of the OS.

You can not really, unless you are still operating system disk. The protection software does not allow you to copy it to another hard drive, not even a picture. You have two choices:
Tough it out with Vista and wait, you save a few hundred dollars, but cost you a lot of patience ...
Or ...
Reinstalling XP and wait for Microsoft to improve it. You will need to buy a new disc and a service pack, at a cost of almost 1 for the two big maybe.
I would say it lasts. Yeah, it's boring now, but it's worth at the end. The disk repair MUST act as an operating system disk ... If this is one of those that you had included with it, saying it is an OS disk. Otherwise, it will not relocate.

not as long as you are a registered owner of vista and have your serial number tour with Toshiba should have come with a CD to restore

Recovery disk usually restore the entire system, so that the operating system is included.

The only problem that I see here is that "downgrading" of Vista XP on one computer, you may have trouble finding drivers for your laptop. Meaning buttons and features of the laptop may not work.

I feel bad for you man, Vista is a no no. Personally, I am waiting for another year or two. Even then I could get a macbook and install XP lol.

Vista I ran as a research project during its beta.

Admittedly, it was stopped, and a few questions ego. He wanted to take care of everything.

I anticipated that there would be a lot of resistance to Vista, XP is because firmly established. What was expected was an improvement over WindowsXP. They found that, but Vista is a new beginning (security and think wireless and add muscle with the collaboration of the media), but subtle.

The problem is that it will disappear. In fact, there is nothing wrong with that. It only requires a new state of mind that your doctor can offer.

You just have to get used to it.

I am confident that the drive to relocate recovory vista. I had a toshiba with a disk recovory he had XP, and I was able to install it again. (I installed when there was nothing on the tab.) So you should be good to back up your documents and install XP man.
