I would personally do everything on CD or DVD or external drive. But if you choose to partition the drive and put all your files in there I want to make sure you have a backup of these files, as on CD or DVD. When you start messin with the reader, data can be damaged in the process.
I need to reload windows xp on my computer, but I want to save my data, for example. Music, and only want to erase the O.S. Hw does anyone know do so safely and may recommend any good and partitioning software (preferably freeware)
