My new computer does not have a CD / DVD ROM and floppy drive, and has only one partition with NTFS, and I want to make a backup, so I tried to use the magic 8.0, but he did not NTFS, then I Counld't split a partition into two, do you have any solutions? Any partition software could work with NTFS? With

Many of the programs can partition a hard drive. I believe that Partition Magic 8 can, but it can not partition a portion of a hard drive that has not been formatted. Since your Tablet PC has a whole computer you can not format the partition any part thereof without starting over.

Starting over I mean wiping the hard drive clean, the elimination of the current partition and then at the beginning. During the windows xp / vista installation process, it allows you to delete partitions existing and create new ones.

The best solution would be to have an external hard drive or DVD burner. Most external hard drives and DVD recorders come with a sort of back up programs that allow you to backup hard disk data. The positive side of having something outside is if you lose the hard disk, or if it dies completely fair you have a copy of your files from outside.

software does not have an "s" at the end.

Using a USB drive and copy your data. His sentence a backup if you need to copy data from one partition on the same disk.
