If I wanted to copy a pc to back up everything on it, what software could I use?

I wondered what sottware backups computers. If I have my laptop and wanted a backup exactly how it is now with everything on the disk. Let's say that I have a backup today and the need to restore its original configuration in 2 months on another computer. I tried to restore the parameters of xp but in the search for a program that lets you burn to a DVD.

For a full backup, I use Acronis Backup Solutions.

If you plan to completely restore to another computer, you may want Acronis with Universal Restore.

To backup and restore to the same system:

To backup and restore system different

I use the enterprise product for the desktop with universal restore. This is approximately $ 125.00. This has saved me more than once when my mother died and I had to build a new workstation. I have been able to restore order in a few minutes on a different machine.

I also use a larger version of this product for my customers. I save all servers and client workstations to a central location and the backup outside of the USA.

Good luck,

Using Norton Ghost, it will make an exact image of your hard disk.

Note, that anything you add or change after making a backup copy would have to be redone. You would not want to put the new image to another computer, like all drivers of your components (cd drives, video card, sound card, etc.) will probably not work properly.

You can put it on a new hard drive, and replace it with that of your computer if it breaks, and not to have lost something.

Do not Ghost. I used, and he was afraid. I Acronis TrueImage, which is 100 times better.
