Has anyone had problems with the USB dock not connected properly?
I received a tomtom 510 as a Christmas present and I found that the USB dock is a bit choosy when it will work or not (sometimes as USB, sometimes appears with map). The charging light turns on only if you violin TT up and down a bit. As a result of temperament this regard, it has no backup and update properly with the new software and often freezes on the start screen. He also believes that it is a tom tom too! (again because of the bad restore)

Yes, similar question - but not a 510. Did not hang around, called for a replacement immediately see he was still under warranty (as is yours). I recommend you do likewise.
