How do you copy a OS from 1 computer to another one?

jason w,to your comment:
I have a computer with Windows XP Chinese version and I also want to do it on my other computer without having to erase the Chinese XP on the computer of origin. I dont have a Chinese XP disk. So, if I make a backup of the operating system with some software (suggesting please) and put it in another computer and install it, will it work?
was not in the habit of copying an operating system from one computer to another. The reason is that operating systems make the hardware components of a computer to work with each other and with the software.

You need to install the operating system you want on the computer as you want on the disc from a Master, and both must have been designed to accommodate each other. Usually, this means that you need to create a new partition of the computer so that the new operating system will not interfere with the old operating system. If you just want a new OS and does not care about the old one, just delete the hard disk clean and install the new operating system, but be sure you know where the master discs are for all software that you l intend to remain so.

Sincerely,
Texian

try a program called norton ghost i believe that this program creates an image of your operating system and lets you save the new image of the other PC, but the other PC to be similar or somewhat similar in similar same company and model other than that I dont know

You may need a program to copy the score. There is a partition called magic, but not free ..

Your not allowed to have the same copy of Windows XP on two different computers. Microsoft says PC 1 copy 1.

If it were not illegal, and both PCs are exactly the same material, yes.

If a single hardware component is different, no.

Save yourself the frustration and buy XP for the second PC, or switch to Linux Ubuntu, free from:
