I connect my drive with a USB cord, and there is not an icon indicating that it recognizes. I did install the software (ArcSoft total media backup and the support that it works.) I can not view the files at all, and I have to restore my files using ArcSoft. I have Mac OS X Tiger. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Make sure you do not connect it to your USB keyboard, try a body on the computer itself. Try Memorex go to the site and see if there are Mac drivers. I could not find any.
