Do the 'lay-people' here, know the different between computer system restore & quick restore?

PPL know?
It is backwards, I know, but the "Quick Restore" is in fact the long road, and the "System Restore" is the shortest route.
1. "System Restore" is where you select a date to restore your system to back (it may be totally UNdone below).
2. "Quick Restore" is the place where you have to "back up all your files, software and computer programs" and it can not be undone. This is a Uninstall and Reinstall your operating system (Windows, Mac, Vista, whatever --- Linux).

(From old blog's comments)
I had one made by Compaq, which is exactly the opposite. Quick restore your last refill most recent backup system, however, all that has been installed or changed since the last save system is lost when you run the fast-food operation.

The other option is that the full restoration of destroying any and reload the operating system to revert to the original configuration. All the documents and the backup system must be saved to another computer or storage device and reloaded after the restore operation is complete.
