precautions before formating a laptop!?

I think my laptop formatting!
If the thing is i dont have any of the driver's cds ..
The good thing is I bought a software online tht can save all drivers to use anywhere I want so i guess tht problem is solved ..
If it is worried tht im fighting peculiarities is portable! As
showing me the temperature of the CPU, and so on ..
And using the keyboard .. As (play / stop / www / refresh / search / favorites / ... computer / calculator)

And software tht help me define a profile for the laptop when its on electricity or by using only his batteries ...

Knowing what hardware is in this laptop is VERY important.

If you do not know, you can try Belarc Advisor.

You can get it free at www.belarc.com

Once you know what you have equipment, make sure that you can download all the drivers for the hardware and the burn it.

OK, the drivers were nailed down, the next thing is - your personal data. Do you have photos, text files, documents, music, videos, etc etc etc you need to save? If yes, do so. If not, skip. Drivers

.. Privacy ... And now on software. Now that you know the software installed to win9x and are incorporated into the operation of registry systems. This means that if you copy the directory where they have been installed in (such as program files \ (insert software title here) directory), they do not work because they are missing the system registry. Just be sure you can get the new software so that you can reinstall. You can watch add / remove programs in your control panel for a list of all installed software. To write or just make a screenshot (s) (PRTSC ALT), open paint, paste it into the paint (CTRL V), save the file in jpg format, save it on a CD jpg.

Once you have covered these 3 .. Is the last thing, with the operating system to relocate. If you do a full installation of Win XP Pro (for example), make sure the full version, not an upgrade.

That's about all I can think. Hope that helps. The

thing you should do first is go to the site of the factory seek support where and how to reinstall windows with all computer systems drivers if you do not have systems Backup cd then you should have a hidden partition on the hard disk that Includes all systems restore data (drivers)

Never skip directly in the format hard drives and chat with drivers for the motherboard , processor, and other parts, it will not work as it should

First: have you got a problem now as a portable?
If so, may I suggest you use Norton Ghost to make a complete picture of your C: drive, you can copy it to a DVD or external hard drive - it's pretty easy, in this way you have more security if something goes Tort.

On the other hand, you can try to find the laptop www.driverguide.com original drivers.

Hey, also check if you have the operating system and drivers preinstalled on your hard disk, sometimes with IBM computers and laptops, other makers also - no cd's are shipped with the machine, all on the HD, this way you only have to boot At a special menu to reinstall the original operating system and drivers.

Firewalls, what I always suggest to my friends.
Control software application load ups, preferences and security, before you start.

I am not a fan of the ad and spyware, and it is because I put passwords and access (nobody else can open / my computer starts , but me), get full control of your networked computers, where appropriate ....
When online, I just put my blocker and pop-up applications that withour start my keychain password. A small "concern" but it's worth.

Hope this helps.
