Can I back up my computer without back up software?

I just bought a new hard drive to double the size of the two that I have on my computer. I was curious if there is a process to save my entire system to have any backup software? I am not only images, but on my computer if possible. I actually have a program called Norton Ghost, backup software is this?

I appreciate all the help!

is a simple backup Take writing data in your system CD's or DVD's. U can use Nero and can download
Either Roxio.

Another way, if you like old times disk data backup in new ... You follow as below ...
You have a cable for connecting an additional hard drive in the primary with Shunt. Connect the new hard drive to the wire.

Goto BIOS settings to the first hard drive as the master and secondary (new) as slaves, then boot your system, you can see the hard drive partition to both hard drives connected. Simply copy and paste the data from the Old Hard Drives to the partition of the new hard drive.
