Created backup of CD with video clips with Sonic software; now no images on both original and backup - why?

The original was created with the software Nero and contained 30-minute video clip. After attempting to create backups using the Sonic media software on my laptop, no pictures visible on the original and backups. Only a blank screen with nearly two horizontal lines seen with a caption stating at the base "Create with Nero." All advice to remedy the prblem is most welcome.

Is it a question of repeating? I believe I have seen before.
Nero should not change the original file. If you have problems with the program try reading the manual or research on the site.
I do not want to use the software Sonic. Use Nero Express to make a copy of a CD.
