If you are not an engineer / person, then your computer is better to buy backup software and the 'install. I am a CS and I did likewise. There are so many things in this thorny issue as seemingly simple:
-What records?
- What about the locked files?
Compression?
- Security?
- Speed?
- What means of support?
- How do you handle large volumes and small backup media?

- RELIABILITY -
Buy something because it will be more economical in the long run.
