How to Backup and restore partition over wifi? using only GNU/GPL software?

I know about PARTIMAGE, but is there a bootable CD which includes? And to be able to configure the card wifi. Maybe some LIVE CD that can be easily modified so that I can have wifi, and what partimage. Please suggest options.

Ultimate Boot CD and a linux partimage, but I do not know how to activate wifi so that I can restore the partition stored in remote server.

(Needles to say that Norton Ghost or any commercial application is out of the question)

One option would be easy to start using Ubuntu live CD. I do not know if partimage is included on this disc, but you can add them to the disk image or load it on a flash drive and run it out of this.

Once you run the live CD, wireless and setting up remote servers assembly is easy. Starting from the taskbar, click on System, the administration and then networking. A very easy to use GUI will appear allowing you to configure your wireless network.

Once done, open a terminal and type "ifconfig" to ensure that you are connected. The ra0 should have a valid IP address for her. Then, from the taskbar click on the site and connect to the server. Enter the correct information for the server you want to connect to the image. When it is completed, there will be an icon on the desktop of the action you just created, double click it and see if you can connect.

If so, partimage start, and you may find that you have just the part connected to the / media / [sharing] to load the image you need.

As for partimage, you can install on the hard ram during the race off the live disc. Go to the system, administration, and click symantic package manager. Search partimage and see if you can install.

I hope this works for you!
