What software can I use to backup my entire hdd to blank dvds ?

j man:
Prefrebly one that is as easy as possiable

In my experience, Ghost is preferable to use when creating a mirror image of your entire hard disk.

If you want to make a backup of some important information on your hard rather than any then use the backup software as dedicated Cobian Backup or Mozy.

Nortons Ghost has been done for that reason, and its ease of use and its .... Bootable, which enables you to retrieve and relocate if necessary ..

Paid software: Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image. For free programs I heard DriveImageXML is good, but I did not have to be restored from the backup I made with him, so I can not vouch for him.
