Software backup discs...?

Smoothie,answering to your comments:
I would like to make backup copies of all my software discs. How does it work? Do I need to use the CD-R, DVD-R, or something else?

You can do this by copying onto discs similar size, but then, the backup system can not work, because every manufacturer encryption software which renders useless for their hard copy.

There was a program that could dycrypt CDs and DVDs, but they are all illegal today, and even the possession of them is a crime, a very suspended jail sentence and penalties, well, I really would not recommend to you.

All the best.

If you make a backup, you want to use CD-Rs for use on your computer possible replacement.

If you NERO or Roxio, you will see a CD copy feature. Just follow the instructions.

Good luck

Both work. If you want a true backup copy of your software, which uses the software uses (CD or DVD). When they have protection, you need something like blindread or clone to CD copying. However, it may be difficult to circumvent the protection.

Use the duplicate disk or function exact copy of your software CD burning. Using rewritables if you want to keep your SW for the benefit and avoid an accidental crash. The most common brands are burning software: Nero, Sonic, Roxio, etc. If you are unsure of what program you have, in the use of computers "help (?).
