anyone know of reliable free backup software for hard drives? Ron?

Use Windows XP backup program to back up your files on CD-RW.

all versions of Windows include backup programs, but they are not always settled by default (XP).

To install the Windows backup program: Put the floppy original installation in your CD, and then go to the folder called / Valueadd / msft / ntbackup.

You will see a folder called ntbackup.msi. Double-click on this file and it will install the backup program free. The free backup program will appear in the Tools folder Systems (click Start, All Programs, Accessories, Tools systems, Backup). You can now put (backup) data to another computer, another hard drive or a CD.
