how do you burn software from your pc to a cd?

sapo,answering to you comment
I need to have a backup
Unfortunately, there's no way to take over programs and copy it on a disk so that you can reinstall it from this disc if your computer crashed .

You must save the installation disks of the computer manufactureer and from any software that you bought from. To download the software, you must save the installation file before installing the program.

Your other option is RAID or image backup. That's where you make a complete copy of everything on your hard drive, and in this way all your programs still work if you have to recover. Cheers

In general, there's no way to safeguard JUST the program itself, and be able to restore the program itself should not crash your PC.

Norton Cleansweep were used to "archive" function, but it was quickly abandoned.

What may be possible to generate an image of your hard disk HD when everything is installed and working properly. If your computer crashes, the image can be restored, wiping out all your changes made after the image has been done (and the problems too). On the other hand, high-definition images to be in the order of a large number of gigabytes, larger than several DVDs.

insert the CD into the computer, and drag the program to the CD icon
