are cd and dvd music encrypted so i have to have extra software?

pancho asked:
I pay to register at walmart Now I want to do my backup copy to protect if it scratched. How easy way to do this?
normally cd "ripping" is very easy, programs on your computer like Windows Media Player or Real One Player have an option to copy the audio tracks

For its dvd a little more complicated, you need to use programs like DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter or DVD Fab to make a backup copy on your hard drive. If one of them does not succeed (because of the encryption), then the other should work fine (especially DVD Fab)

Good Luck

If you have Windows Media Player 9 or higher, should be able to rip any CD for data backup. Commercial DVDs are a little more complicated and require additional software, and a little more know-how can I reasonably explain here.

go to roxio.com and it will cost about $ 50-80, but it is a good program

Cause Most DVDs are encrypted (CSS copy protected right ), you need to have a 3rd party software DVD copy to help you take a look at the objective and detailed comparative table of the best DVD ripping software 5, 1 Click DVD copying is the best and works very well for me.
