You can update your Windows XP license for a true solutions provider without having to completely reinstall or lose your programs already installed. Just make sure that you do NOT have to reinstall windows, but instead of following the instructions that came with your original copy of the updated version of the key.

You have nothing to fear. Your windows copied work perfectly identical to the original (unfortunately you miss usually colorful cardboard box it comes in)

ok, a lot of question.
First part of the money. If you bought a game on the Internet, you probably have an account with them and you can again probabaly them, but ask personal perspective on consumers.
Its better to wipe your hard drive and reinstall everything from scratch.
If you do not know how to safeguard your programs, you should start to learn it now!
The ease once you tryied you need is a CD or DVD burner, blank disk and a program to do your backup to be found free on the net.
Try this link, you will find a lot of useful and free software:

If you are installing XP this way NO
Xp use disk as you would for a normal installation to installation to the selection screen repair windows leave the filesystem because it is this re install windows but leave your files as they are on the computer
That all will not be available are udates you have installed because of your windows because its installation of origin DONOT choose change file system or disk will be automatically formatted, which is a clean install destoys all on the hard drive you will still need your serial number to install it again
