I use an external hard drive: is there a program which can backup files for me regularly?

Answering to comments
For example, there is one issue on which my internal HD I would like to have saved fairly regularly - Is there a program that could do this for me?
To synchronize these files, you can use Acronis True Image. True Image is a product very reliable, and it has some advantages over MS backup utility as incremental backups and differential which can save space on your disks. To learn more about this product, you may visit their official website:

You already have a facility in most OS. If you use Windows, click Programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> Scheduled Tasks. Establish a scheduled task to copy your folder on the external drive at an opportune moment. Make sure it repeats every day or every other day or every week,

If you have XP, you can use a free software on your computer already. It's called ntbackup. Go to Start | parameters | Control Panel | scheduled tasks | add task | choosing backup
Then you can set it to any interval you wish.
She is just as good as any program that exists.
