Has anyone used the software "Backup Man" by Bits'n'Bolts for handhelds?

Http: / / www.bitsnbolts.com / backupman.php

Did someone use this software? If so, what do you think about this?
Also, if the PDA is connected to the computer with a USB cable, but the Palm is out of the desire to safeguard Man backup software even every hour (which is often how I set it to the backup)?
I am not clear how this program works differently from the action of HotSync.

I Backup Man and is a great product.

It helps to ensure that programs are compatible and there is another layer to ensure that data is stored and not lost.

I still manually synchronize my Palm in my computer.

The program is more than be careful not to lose data that are essential automatic backup.

Hopefully this helps to clarify the matter!

Good luck!

1. Backing man is good.

2. It backs up when the Palm is off.

3. Backing up every hour is quite paranoid. I am very paranoid and everyday is OK for me.

4. Hotsync does not back up everything, and having the backup on your memory card is extremely valuable.

5. NVBackup is free and, in some respects, better. (

I tried BackupMan, but I do not like it as much as BackupBuddyVFS by Blue Nomad. I used BBVFS Pro for many years and it works quite nicely. She even has a continuous mode so you can Backing modified files once you leave a program. Discover. You can compare your options with the latest version of Resco Backup for palm too. In my opinion, BackupBuddyVFS Pro is the best and the product range of applications safeguard there Palm.

BackupBuddyVFS is totally separate from the HotSync action so that it is always make backups automatic if it was attached to the USB cable or not.
