I know I can zip files and password protect the zip archive or I can protect a password using a backup Nero BackItUp request, but I want files available in the explorer at CD / DVD is inserted, without having to decompress or restore them first. it is burning software that can save password.

Hi, If you want files available as soon as the CD / DVD is inserted, you will not be able to use any compression or encryption. However, the best method of protection is to place the CD / DVD is concealed in a place or a small safe by protecting them against the prying eyes and theft or damage.
