I want to burn TV shows on iTunes on a DVD-R, but can not find the solution. I have the drive and I need a disc burner. is there any other software I need? or is there a way to convert videos in Windows Media Player? i do not intend to give immediate discs, I'm just making backups so that I can delete my PC shows that they take too much room. please help.

iTunes does not allow videos purchased through them to be burned onto a CD or DVD (which you can do with music)

You can burn a backup copy of iTunes videos onto a CD or DVD data. However, you can not burn iTunes videos to a DVD for playback on your DVD player entertainment.
