Buy USB 2.0 2.5 "HDD (hard disk laptop) case. It must be cheap. Put a laptop hard drive and use it. Laptop hard drives are well designed ( Besides the usual HD) for portability questions. So, no harm will occur on light a rough bumps, as long as you exceptional reliability.
I'm looking for an external hard drive that I have these expectations: 1. reliable, 2. 3 fast enough. can be indexed by certain types of software such as Google Desktop 4. often automatic backup data from my laptop. A big thank you for everything you!

You can try Sandisk or Seagate. Both are reliable and good. Seagate
