Well I have a spyware on my computer and I tried different free software online to remove it, no chance. I'm tired and I have to save all my files. What reformatting the computer solve this problem? And how do I reformat the computer. Will I need a floppy to do so, because we do not have a disc that came with the computer - it was a gift. Please someone with computer experience help! A website would be great. THANKS!

it will help if you have a laptop with an accumulation of recovery partition on your hard disk wise to try other what was discussed before but I myself have never tried

by reformatting your hard drive will lose all files and the operating system and the hard drive will be as new, fresh new installation of Mac OS and software. If you Sywares and viruses, and if this is not much infete the computer you can try AVG AntiVirus which is free and a tool Spyware Remover, run both, and check for viruses and horses Troy, which should help.

You can if you reformat your computer's CD. you can for the CD but it will erase all the information it contains. You will have to start new ones. if you want to reformat. and will safeguard your system. by the virus problem. you can try AVG antivirus. free and reliable. download from

also try to download spybot www.download. com and update then analyze the spys
